How To Add Music in Instagram Stories

Ready to start adding soundtracks to your next Instagram Story? It is very easy! Just follow the steps below and you will immediately post photos and videos to your favorite music beat.

First, download the latest version of the Instagram application for iOS or Android. After you update the app, open Instagram Stories by tapping the camera icon on the top right of your homepage.
After you take a photo or video, tap the sticker button at the top of the screen then tap the "Music" sticker.

This will open the Instagram music library where you will find thousands of songs to choose from. You can search for a particular song, or browse by mood, genre, or what song is popular.

You can tap the "Play" button to listen first before adding it to your Stories. When you have found the right song, you can fast forward and rewind through the track to choose the right part that suits your Stories.

You can also choose how long you want the music clip to play, this instagram story only gives (maximum of 15 seconds). If the lyrics are available for the song you selected, they will appear automatically on your screen.

You can then choose different fonts and designs for the lyrics, and you can edit which parts of the song you want to play. When someone watches your Stories, they can tap on "Lyric" to see more about the artist, bring up the lyrics or listen to more of his songs. Completed, and you can tap on the "Music" sticker to play your music stories before publishing.
