How To change the old font and background on WhatsApp - The instant messaging application WhatsApp is one of the most used social media applications in our country. The applications offer different functions to prevent users from getting bored of using the application.

Custom background is one of these cool and fun features that you can change the chat background with. It allows users to set different backgrounds for different chats. Users can also get rid of boring old fonts by changing the font style. Users can also italicize, bold, and strikethrough text to add emphasis to their texts.

How To Change the font style of WhatsApp messages
If you want to change the font style of WhatsApp text to different styles, you can follow these steps below:

For Android users:

• Select the text you want to change and hold it down, then click on the three dots in the mini window
• Now select from the bold, italic, strikethrough and single space options as you like.
  

If you don't want to do it this way, you can change the font as follows

• To change the text style to italic in WhatsApp, add an underscore on both sides of the text, example _text_.
• To make the text bold, add an asterisk to both sides of the text, example * text *.
• To cross out your message, add a check mark to both sides of the text, like this ~ text ~.
  

For iPhone users:

• Press and hold the text you are typing, and then click BIU.
• Now select from bold, italic, and strikethrough.
• To convert the font style of the message to typewriter font, add three apostrophes before and after the text like this, "" text "`.
  

Android and iPhone users can also set custom wallpapers for a particular contact to make it more interesting. This is how you can do it

For Android:

• Open the WhatsApp application and go to the chat window of the specific contact whose background you want to change.
• Touch the three dots in the upper corner of your screen.
• Click on the Wallpaper option.
• Now select the wallpaper of your choice from the bright, dark and solid color options and My Photos.
• After selecting the wallpaper, users will be asked between two options which are for the specific chat or all chats (except chats with custom themes)
• Choose the preferred option and select the OK button.
• Then tap on the wallpaper option and your custom wallpaper will be set.

For Iphone:

• Open WhatsApp and go to the chat window of the specific contact where you want to set the custom background.
• Click on the contact information and select the Wallpaper and sound option.
• Click the Choose a new wallpaper option.
• Now select the wallpaper of your choice from the solid, dark and bright color options and My Photos.
• Users can also check old wallpapers by going to the Wallpaper Archive.
• For that, scroll down the bright or dark wallpapers section.
• After selecting the wallpaper and setting the chat wallpaper.
