- After that, enter your mobile number correctly. Instagram will then provide a verification alert. Click "OK" if you are sure the mobile number entered is correct.
- After a while, you will get an SMS from Instagram containing a link to reset the password.
- Click the link and you will be directed to the Instagram password reset page.
- Enter the new password several times as instructed on the page.
- After all password fields have been filled in accordingly, then you will be directed to an Instagram account that previously cannot be opened.
- Remember to record your new password so you don't forget it later.

Passwords May Be Saved in Google Chrome
If you are accustomed to opening Instagram through the Google Chrome application, then there is still a possibility that your old email address and password can still be known through the application. If you are accustomed to pressing the "Yes" option when Chrome asks you to save a site's password, then the password information and e-mail address will automatically be saved in Google Chrome.

- Open Google Chrome.

- Enter the e-mail address or mobile number used to register Facebook and your Facebook password. then click "Enter".
- If the two information is correct, you will be directed to the Instagram homepage.
