How to deploy alien nanites - Week five of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7 is underway, and we have another legendary quest chain to work on. This time, you will have to accept a call from Doctor Slone at any of the public telephones on the map. That begins the six-step quest chain, which involves interacting with a CB radio and placing a couple of welcome gifts. Step four of six is to implement something known as Alien Nanites. So what are Alien Nanites and where can you find and implement them in Fortnite? Here is everything you need to know.

Where to implement Alien Nanites in Fortnite
To implement Alien Nanites in Fortnite, you'll want to go to any location with a lot of ground loot. Some good options are at Holly Hatchery, Boney Burbs, or Corny Complex. When you arrive at any of these locations, keep an eye out for a new item known as Alien Nanites. It looks like a Rubik's cube, in case you have trouble finding it.
Alien Nanites do not appear in set locations, and can appear randomly anywhere there is ground loot to collect. Starting in week five, you will start to see Alien Nanites all over the map, but they seem to be rare compared to other loot like weapons, bandages, and shields.
When you pick up an Alien Nanite, it will equip into a slot like a grenade. Take it out and throw it in an area with enough space to generate the large cube-shaped object. If you throw it in a narrow area, you may not get credit for the challenge. It is best to run to an open space and then launch the Alien Nanites.

The cube-shaped area that is generated will only be available for a short time. Gravity within the area behaves differently, and you can tap the jump button to move quickly. It is similar to the new large bucket area at Holly Hatchery.
